After settling back in England after fun adventures living in the states my need to start creating again was great and from drafting the pattern to making up samples Elyan began its journey.

I strongly believe in supporting local artisans (why would I not after all its supporting our local economy and reducing the carbon footprint of manufacturing overseas.).  So I am very fortunate to be working with some wonderful workshops in London who produce exceptional work, are welcoming, friendly and truly care about each item they are making.  Trained many years ago at the London College of Fashion I have a clear understanding of each garment from the initial design through to production.  Each stage is a joy to work on but the ultimate pleasure is to see Elyan being worn.

I create with the hope that each piece brings joy and is loved; then when it is no longer worn passed to a friend or down a generation.  Elyan is not here for this seasons latest look, so do not expect new collections each season.  Elyan is slow fashion constantly inspired by life and creating ideas which are honed into exceptional pieces.  I hope you love your Elyan piece as much as I have loved creating it for you,
